MPDV USA Inc is seeking a Chief Sales Officer with a focus on the North American continent, based in the Greater Chicago Area. The Chief Sales Officer is responsible for rapidly growing our business in the region via organically growing new business partnerships while enhancing current customer relationships. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional sales skills while also demonstrating astute business acumen to navigate organizational complexities and market challenges, ultimately driving favorable outcomes for your bottom line.

The role will be responsible for the activities described below:
Responsibilities:
- You are acting as a mentor and a leader with a combination of setting direction and leading by example while having your own sales responsibilities.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and develop strategies to stay ahead.
- Build actionable plans and maintaining a sharp focus on achieving sales targets and propelling revenue growth for the organization.
- Report key metrics to the leadership team with action plans for improvement opportunities.
- Lead revenue forecasting by conducting thorough assessments of sales effectiveness
- Set and manage the sales budget
- Play a crucial role in guiding account managers to meet and exceed their sales goals
- Generate business opportunities through dedicated prospecting and recognize the significance of strong and lasting connections
- Act as an MES thought leader. Responsibilities may include speaking engagements, participating in conference panel discussions, and sharing insights via webinars
- Provide excellent customer service
- Establish and maintain relationships with prospects, customers, and partners
- Ensure compliance with MPDV processes, policies, regulations, and use of sales tools
Qualifications
- 5 years of senior-level MES sales experience with proven track record of achieving sales goals
- Demonstrated capability to lead and inspire our sales team, establish clear objectives, and propel performance to new heights
- Strong sense of ambition, self-motivation, and self-discipline
- Proficiency to conceive and implement sales strategies that align seamlessly with overall business objectives
- Build, nurture, and motivate a high-performing sales team
- In depth understanding of sales processes, encompassing customer acquisition and relationship management
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Knowledge of industry trends and competitors
- Demonstrated flexibility in navigating changing market conditions and adjusting sales strategies
- Experience in business-to-business sales, including prospecting, relationship management and closing complex deals for consulting-intense software solutions in the manufacturing industry
- Strong technology skills, familiarity with value-added processes in the manufacturing industry and the digitization needs of manufacturing companies
- Bilingual (English & Spanish or English & German) is a plus
- Expectations for this role is working in the office 3-4 days per week
