Optimal Path System (OPS)

Show the machinist where to go and when. OPS calculates the optimal path using real-time machine data. This is a guidance system for the operators on the shop floor that allow them to manage efficiently more machines.
A timeline for each machine ➞ as a machine executes a program, progress is shown on the timeline for that machine.
Operator knows where to go and when ➞ OPS looks at all programs running on all machines and identifies where human intervention will be required (ex. tool change).
The optimal path, fewest idle machines ➞ OPS calculates the optimal path which guides the operator to a machine when it needs attention. It also shows which machines can run Lights-Out at the same time.
